It's official, folks. Here at the CES 2012 show in Las Vegas, Samsung has officially announced the LTE-equipped Galaxy Note. AT&T will be hooking up the phablet with its brand new 4G LTE service. The giant phone and/or tiny tablet sports a 5.3-inch 800×1280 Super AMOLED Plus display, an S-pen, which is basically a fancy Stylus, and Android 2.3 Gingerbread....

Yes, that's a fridge door and being 2012 of course it's running apps. Samsung's just unveiled a bunch of "smart" WiFi connected appliances here at CES, but the most interesting of the bunch are a pair of fridges that run apps. Available in "French Door" (RF4289) or side-by-side (RSG309) configurations, the pair rock 8-inch touchscreens, and apparently the much requested "Grocery Manager" that'll help plebes keep track of their perishables....

We're seated here at Samsung's 2012 CES press event, and the company just revealed that it'll be matching rival LG's 55-inch OLED TV... when a 55-inch OLED TV of its own. Not surprisingly, the outfit's trumpeting its terrific color reproduction, the virtual absence of motion blur and face recognition. Sadly, there's not even a model number to mark down, and a price estimate should be even harder to find....
